The Inquiry is currently live, with a research programme running from June 2025 to March 2026. We will publish a report of our findings in Summer 2026, but we are committed to sharing findings and learning from across the research programme whilst it is underway, wherever possible. As part of the first strand of the research programme, five Evidence Sessions are being held to provide the Inquiry with insights from individuals with specific expertise relating to the educational outcomes of white working-class pupils. These sessions are designed to deepen understanding of what has and hasn’t worked, through a range of professional and academic perspectives.
